Health important of multivitamin.

For those who eat a healthy diet,a multivitamin may have little or no benefits,a diet that includes plenty of fruits, vegetables, wholegrains, good protein packages and healthy fats should, as a matter of fact, provide most of nutrients needed for good health but not everyone manage to eat healthy diet.

How do we fill this gap?,in this concluding article( check for the first part here [*]) I will take you through the important of taking a multivitamin as your daily health assurance.

🔹To meet your micronutrients requirement.

When it comes to micronutrients, many people get less than the adequate amounts, according to criteria set by the institute of medicine.for instance more than 90% Americans get less than the estimated average requirement for Vitamin D and Vitamin E from food sources alone.this create a need for multivitamin to bridge the gap for this deficiency.[*],[*],[*],[*],[*].

🔹To meet older people’s need.

Many older people have trouble absorbing Vitamin B from food, the dietary Guidelines For American 2010 recommend that people over the age of 50 should eat foods fortified with Vitamin B12 or take Vitamin B 12 supplements[*],[*].

🔹 Good for pregnant woman.

Good for expectant mother.

Getting enough of another B Vitamin called folate is especially important for women who may become pregnant, adequate folate can help lower the risk of having a baby with spina bifida or anencephaly.

For this folate to be effective,it must be taken in the first few weeks of conception often before a woman knows she is pregnant, yet for many people half of all pregnancies are unplanned that is why the center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all Women of childbearing age, between 15-45, should consume 400 micrograms per day of folic acid[*] and a standard multivitamin that contains the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for folic acid offers a convenient way to do just that.

See you on top.
